About The Event

We invite you to join us at Oja Ale Oshun: Oshun's Night Market as a vendor or a spectator of this special occasion event taking place in the beautiful Bronze Kingdom Museum at International Drive Orlando Florida. Vendors of all kinds are welcome. Oshun love's children and so we invite you to bring your young entrepreneur to join our Kiddie Korner children's only market area.

Once upon a time in the enchanted royal court yard of the goddess Oshun, there was a market. But this was a court yard and market unlike any other, decorated with only the most exquisite and life like bronze statues around. Trees stood tall covered in winding vines and lush foliage and when nightfall came an air of mysticism enveloped the surroundings.

Traditional sellers from all around convened to trade and sell their most beautiful treasures. Knowing Oshun to be a goddess of money and beauty all and sundry traveled from far and wide to take part in the sales of Oshun's lucrative night market. Oshun loved entertainment and invited the most talented in the land to bring joy and glee to each market vendor and patron.

There were singers and dancers, drummers and story tellers alike. Beancake sellers were plenty hence the inviting smell of deliciousness permeated the air. The melodious tones of flutes, drums and shakers gave definition to the surrounding atmosphere. The chatter of a million voices rode the winds while the rustling sounds of billowing trees and chirping birds foreshadowed Oshun's arrival.

Oshun was the most loved and popular of all gods and goddess and so beings from all wonders and worlds emerged in anticipation of her arrival. Nymphs, elves and fairies perched in trees while land animals of all sorts canvassed the grounds in search of Oshun. Suddenly there was a loud drum beat and the sound of clinging brass bells commanded attention and heads abruptly turned. Oshun had finally arrived! To the wonder and amazement of all.. the bronze statues miraculously came alive not only to welcome Oshun but to welcome you too!
